Biography
Gemma was born on the 29th November 1981 and has been singing since the age of 5. In her earlier years she performed in many song and dance festivals all over the country. It was through the festivals that she came to realise that singing would play a huge part in her life. Gemma took up classical singing lessons at the early age of 11 and progressed through exams at the Royal School of Music and The London Trinity College of Music, all the while gaining a varied repertoire of Musical Theatre songs to Classical Arias.
She is now a full time professional and has appeared on the West End stage and performed at both the Royal Albert Hall and The London Palladium.
Gemma has been influenced by many different styles of music which has given her the versatility to perform the widest possible repertoire from Classical Arias and Opera to show tunes and popular music to the classics for cabaret nights.
Her versatility has enabled her to be the current lead female vocalist for three of the top touring theatre productions in the country, performing in some of the finest theatres such as The Manchester Opera House, The Sunderland Empire and Sheffield City Hall to name but a few.
